What the ratings mean for fit
The 3VA2010-6HL32-0KL0 is a Siemens SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 100 A continuous current across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed in a warm panel. That 100 A is the frame rating; the adjustable trip module lets you set the magnetic pickup between 150 A and 1 200 A, so one breaker body covers motor feeders, transformer primaries, or distribution buswork without swapping hardware. The interrupting ratings tell you where it can go: 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415/440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V. That 242 kA at 240 V is high enough for most secondary-side service-entrance applications; the 187 kA at 415 V covers heavy industrial switchboards. The steep drop to 3 kA at 690 V means this is not a 690 V main — it is a feeder or branch breaker at that voltage. Power loss is 13.5 W maximum — relevant for thermal budgeting inside a sealed enclosure. The breaker ships with a shunt trip release (STL) and a configurable auxiliary switch block (2 auxiliary + 1 trip alarm + 1 electrical alarm). No undervoltage release, no ground-fault monitoring, no communication module on this variant.
Panel integration and mounting
Dimensions: 105 mm wide, 181 mm high, 86 mm deep. Storage range is -40 °C to 80 °C; operating range is -25 °C to 70 °C. The storage minimum matters if the breaker sits in an unheated warehouse before installation.
