That 100 A holds flat from 40 °C up to 50 °C, then derates to 85 A at 70 °C — so in a warm enclosure you still get full rating up to 50 °C ambient. This is the line protection version (not motor protection), so it's sized for feeder or branch-circuit overcurrent protection in switchboards and sub-distribution boards.
That means better accuracy and the ability to fine-tune the trip curve to coordinate with downstream breakers. Maximum power loss is 16 W.
Mounts directly onto the DIN rail or panel-mount adapter for the 3VA2 frame. The 105 mm width occupies three 35 mm module spaces. Undervoltage release coil wiring needs a separate control circuit — it's not powered from the breaker's own line side. Auxiliary switches (2 HQ) are pre-installed; wire them to the terminal block on the left side of the breaker.
