What it is and what it does
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2010-6HN32-0HL0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 100 A continuous current across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling. Breaking capacity hits 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415/440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V, so it handles high-fault utility feeds and transformer-secondaries without cascading upstream. The 86 mm depth and 105 mm width fit standard panel cutouts; the 181 mm height leaves room for gland plates above.
Auxiliaries and releases
Factory-fitted with a shunt trip (STL) and a full complement of auxiliary switches: two auxiliary switches, one trip-alarm switch, and one electrical alarm switch (HQ configuration). The supplied basic switch is order code 3VA20106HN320AA0. No undervoltage release or ground-fault monitoring on this variant — those are separate order codes if your spec requires them.
Environmental and thermal limits
Operates from -25 °C to 70 °C ambient; storage range is -40 °C to 80 °C. Maximum power loss is 13.5 W — negligible for panel thermal budgeting but worth noting in a sealed enclosure. Trip indicator and voltage trigger are present; no communication function or other measurement function on this base model.
