MCCB for line protection — 100 A frame with high interrupting capacity
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2010-6HN32-0JH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 100 A continuous current at 40 °C, with a rated insulation voltage of 800 V. It carries a 242 kA breaking capacity at 240 V AC, dropping to 187 kA at 415/440 V and 121 kA at 500 V — at 690 V the rating is 4 kA. This is a line-protection version (not motor-protection), fitted with an ETU350 electronic trip unit and a shunt trip (STL) auxiliary release. The auxiliary contact block provides 2 auxiliary switches plus 1 trip alarm switch (HQ configuration).
Current production — no end-of-life notice
This order code carries a current lifecycle stage — no phase-out or last-time-buy has been announced. It remains a qualified part for serial-production BOMs without an imminent requalification trigger. The part is sourced and quoted to order against an RFQ through independent distribution; availability and current pricing are confirmed at quote time.
Thermal derating and power dissipation
The 100 A rating holds flat from 40 °C through 50 °C. Above that, derating applies: 96.25 A at 55 °C, 92.5 A at 60 °C, 88.75 A at 65 °C, and 85 A at 70 °C. Maximum power loss is 13.5 W. Operating temperature range is -25 °C to +70 °C; storage range is -40 °C to +80 °C.
Panel integration — footprint and mounting
Dimensions are 105 mm wide × 181 mm high × 86 mm deep. The 3-pole frame fits standard MCCB panel cutouts and bus-bar systems for the SENTRON 3VA platform. The shunt trip (STL) and auxiliary switch block (2 aux + 1 alarm) are factory-integrated — no field-assembly of those options required.
