What this MCCB is and what it does
The Siemens 3VA2010-6JP46-0AA0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) designed for line protection in distribution panels. Its 100 A continuous rating at 40 °C covers feeder and main breaker duty in commercial and industrial switchboards. The 4-pole construction handles three-phase-plus-neutral systems, common in North American and European panel builds where a switched neutral is required. The ETU550 electronic trip unit gives adjustable long-time, short-time, instantaneous, and ground-fault protection curves. That means selectivity tuning downstream of a transformer or upstream of a motor control center is possible without swapping the breaker — you dial in the curve to match the load. Communication function is built in, so the breaker reports status and trip events to a BMS or PLC over the fieldbus without an add-on module.

The breaker measures 181 mm high, 140 mm wide, and 86 mm deep. The 140 mm width for a 4-pole frame is standard for this class.
