The ETU550 electronic trip unit gives adjustable long-time, short-time, instantaneous, and ground-fault protection curves. That means selectivity tuning downstream of a transformer or upstream of a motor control center is possible without swapping the breaker — you dial in the curve to match the load. Communication function is built in, so the breaker reports status and trip events to a BMS or PLC over the fieldbus without an add-on module.
