What this MCCB carries and where it fits
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2010-7JQ32-0AA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated a full 100 A continuously from 40 °C through 70 °C — no derating curve to chase across the panel ambient range. Breaking capacity hits 330 kA at 240 V and 242 kA at both 415 V and 440 V, then drops to 187 kA at 500 V and 3 kA at 690 V. That 330 kA figure at 240 V means it handles the full available fault current on a large secondary transformer or a high-capacity bus without needing an upstream current-limiting fuse. The ETU560 electronic trip unit gives adjustable long-time pickup (Ig) from 0.8 s to 100 A and short-time pickup (Ii) from 150 A to 1200 A, so you set the coordination curve to the load, not the other way around.
Panel fit and integration
At 105 mm wide, 181 mm tall, and 86 mm deep, this MCCB fits standard SENTRON 3VA panel cutouts and busbar systems. The IP40 front protection means it's fine inside a closed enclosure — no special gasketing needed for the operator face. Communication function is built in, so it can talk to a higher-level controller or energy management system over the SENTRON bus; no separate comm module to buy and mount. Ground-fault monitoring uses summation current formation on the L-conductor, which catches leakage without a separate GFCI block. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V, giving headroom for 480 V and 600 V class systems.
