Interrupting performance across voltage tiers
This MCCB's breaking capacity is voltage-dependent — a characteristic every selectivity study needs. At 415 V it clears 121 kA, at 500 V it's 75.6 kA, and at 690 V it drops to 3 kA. For a 480 V distribution board the 121 kA at 415 V is conservative; the actual 480 V rating likely interpolates between the 415 V and 500 V values.
Maximum power loss is 0.84 W.
Built-in ground-fault monitoring and communication
This unit includes ground-fault monitoring via summation current formation on L + N conductors — it measures the vector sum of line and neutral current to detect leakage to earth. That's a built-in GF protection layer without an external module. The communication function (listed as present) means it can integrate with a higher-level monitoring system for trip data and status, useful for a facility BMS or SCADA pulling breaker states without hardwired aux contacts. No undervoltage release or voltage trigger is fitted — that's a clean base configuration for standard overcurrent-only protection.
