Breaking capacity across voltage classes
This breaker's short-circuit performance varies sharply with system voltage: 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at both 415 V and 440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V. The steep drop at 690 V tells you this is a 240–500 V primary-rated device; at 690 V it still clears, but coordination studies should use the 3 kA figure.
The 4-pole frame measures 140 mm wide by 181 mm high by 86 mm deep — a standard SENTRON 3VA footprint that fits existing DIN-rail or screw-mount panel layouts. The ETU850 trip unit supports communication and measurement functions, so plan for a wiring path to the control system if you're using those features.
