Siemens SENTRON 3VA2025-7HL36-0AA0 — 25 A MCCB with ETU320 release
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2025-7HL36-0AA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for line protection, carrying a continuous current Iu of 25 A across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling. Its ETU320 electronic overcurrent release gives you adjustable thermal-magnetic characteristics for coordination studies, not just a fixed bimetal curve. Breaking capacity hits 330 kA at 240 V, dropping to 242 kA at 415/440 V and 187 kA at 500 V — still well above typical 25 A feeder fault levels, so you get selectivity headroom without oversizing the frame. Rated insulation voltage Ui is 800 V, and the front face carries IP40 protection — fine for a clean panel interior, but keep the gland plate sealed if the enclosure sees washdown.
Panel fit and integration
Mounts on a standard DIN rail or panel-mount footprint; dimensions are 105 mm wide, 181 mm high, 86 mm deep — the width is the critical number for multi-pole grouping in a crowded enclosure. Power loss is a modest 0.5 W max, so thermal rise in a sealed panel is negligible. Operating temperature range is -25 °C to 70 °C; storage from -40 °C to 80 °C — the storage limit governs shipping and site idle periods, not running conditions.
