For a main or feeder breaker on a high-fault industrial service, that SCCR headroom lets you avoid cascading an upstream trip or adding current-limiting fuses. The ETU320 LI trip unit gives you adjustable overload protection (Ir) from 10 to 25 A and short-circuit pickup (Ii) from 1.5 to 12 times the In of 25 A. That's a wide band for coordinating with downstream branch breakers or motor starters — you can set the magnetic trip high enough to ride through motor inrush without nuisance tripping, while keeping the thermal curve tight for the conductor ampacity.
