That means it handles the full fault-current range from a 240 V lighting panel to a 690 V motor control center without needing a current-limiting upstream breaker — a single device covers the SCCR requirement across common industrial voltages.
Physical fit and panel integration
Dimensions are 140 mm wide, 181 mm high, and 86 mm deep — a standard SENTRON 3VA2 frame size. The IP40 front protection means it's suited for enclosed panel mounting where incidental tool contact is the only exposure; no washdown rating, so keep it inside the cabinet.
Thermal performance across the panel ambient range
Rated 25 A continuously from 40 °C all the way up to 70 °C ambient — no derating curve to apply for typical industrial enclosures. That's unusual for an MCCB; most need a knock-down above 50 °C. The ETU850 electronic trip handles the thermal memory, so nuisance tripping on warm restart is minimal.
