SENTRON 3VA2040-6HL42-0AA0 — 40 A MCCB with ETU320
The ETU320 trip unit gives you an adjustable thermal-magnetic style response curve, with the continuous current setting range spanning 60 A to 480 A — so the 40 A frame can be tuned to protect downstream conductors or equipment without swapping the breaker body. Breaking capacity reaches 242 kA at 240 V, dropping to 187 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V.
Four-pole construction means it occupies the full width of a standard 140 mm MCCB mounting base — verify the backplate cutout and bus bar spacing if replacing an existing 3-pole unit. Front-side protection is IP40, adequate for enclosed panel mounting where no water ingress is expected. The trip indicator is not fitted on this variant — the ETU320's status is read through the electronic display or remote signaling if wired.
