SENTRON 3VA2 40 A MCCB — ETU550, 4-Pole, Full-Range SCCR
The Siemens 3VA2040-7JP46-0AA0 is a SENTRON-series molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) with 4 poles, rated for 40 A continuous current (Iu) with no derating across the full operating temperature range from -40 °C to 70 °C. The interrupting capacity tops out at 330 kA at 240 V AC, stepping down to 242 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 187 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V — these SCCR figures govern where this breaker can be applied without cascading upstream protection. The ETU550 electronic trip unit provides adjustable long-time delay (tr) from 0.5 s to 25 s and adjustable N-conductor protection (OFF, 40%, 160%).
