Three-pole construction with a line-protection design means it is built for feeder and main distribution duty, not motor-starting curves — pair it with a separate overload relay downstream for motor loads. Breaking capacity is voltage-dependent: 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415/440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V (–). At 415 V, that 121 kA SCCR gives substantial headroom for high-fault industrial distribution — useful where transformer sizes push available fault current above 100 kA.
Auxiliary wiring and release complement
Factory-fitted with two auxiliary switches, one trip alarm switch, and one electrical alarm switch — covers remote status indication without ordering separate modules. Trip indicator gives a local visual flag when the breaker trips on fault, speeding fault-finding during commissioning or line-down events.
