63 A, 4-pole, ETU330 — what that means on the panel
The Siemens 3VA2063-5HM46-0AA0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker rated 63 A continuous at 40 °C, with no derating needed up to 70 °C — it holds 63 A across the full ambient range. Four poles cover three-phase plus neutral, with adjustable N-conductor protection (OFF or 100%). Breaking capacity hits 187 kA at 240 V and 121 kA at 415/440 V, then drops to 75.6 kA at 500 V and 3 kA at 690 V. The 3 kA at 690 V means it's still usable on 690 V systems but only where fault current is tightly limited. This is a line-protection version (no undervoltage release, no communication module, no voltage trigger).
Sizing and selectivity — the numbers that matter
The ETU330 release supports adjustable I²t curves for selective coordination — you can set the delay so a downstream MCCB clears a fault before this one trips, keeping the rest of the bus live. Ground-fault monitoring is built in via summation current formation on L+N, so you get earth leakage detection without an external module. That's handy for panels feeding sensitive loads or where code requires GF protection on the feeder.
Panel fit — dimensions and mounting
That 140 mm width is the standard 4-pole MCCB footprint — it'll fit existing SENTRON 3VA cutouts and busbar systems. The 86 mm depth means it clears shallow backpan enclosures.
