What this MCCB carries
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2063-5HN32-0JL0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 63 A continuous current across the full 40 °C to 70 °C ambient range — no derating needed as the panel warms up. Interrupting capacity hits 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V — that 187 kA figure at 240 V covers high-fault transformer secondaries and large motor control centers without cascading upstream. The breaker is designed for line protection (no ground-fault monitoring, no communication module) and ships with a shunt trip (STL) release plus a 2-auxiliary-switch + 1-trip-alarm + 1-electrical-alarm HQ auxiliary switch block.
Panel fit and integration
Footprint is 105 mm wide × 181 mm tall × 86 mm deep — a standard 3-pole MCCB width that drops into existing SENTRON or third-party panel mounting without re-drilling gland plates. Max power loss is 5.4 W, so internal panel heat rise stays manageable even in a dense lineup of breakers. Operating range is -25 °C to 70 °C; storage from -40 °C to 80 °C — fine for unheated warehouses and outdoor enclosures with heaters.
