What this MCCB carries and where it fits
The Siemens 3VA2063-5JQ32-0BH0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) built for line protection in distribution panels. Three poles, rated continuous current Iu of 63 A all the way up to 50 °C ambient — no derating needed in a warm enclosure until you cross that threshold. The ETU560 electronic trip unit gives you adjustable long-time, short-time, instantaneous, and ground-fault protection curves, which is what you want when coordinating downstream feeders or protecting a motor control center. Breaking capacity hits 187 kA at 240 V and 121 kA at 415 V, so it handles high-fault utility feeds without cascading upstream. The built-in undervoltage release (UVR) and the auxiliary contact pack — two auxiliary switches plus a trip alarm switch — mean this breaker can talk to a PLC or safety relay and drop out on a voltage-loss condition. Communication function is onboard, so you can integrate it into a higher-level monitoring scheme without an add-on module. Ground-fault detection uses summation current formation on the L-conductor, which catches leakage without a separate core-balance CT.
