What it is and what it handles
The SENTRON 3VA2063-5JQ32-0CH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for line protection, carrying a full-scale current of 63 A across the entire ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling. Interrupting capacity hits 187 kA at 240 V, drops to 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, then 75.6 kA at 500 V, and still holds 3 kA at 690 V. That gives you serious SCCR headroom for high-fault panels, especially on 480 V or 600 V class systems where most MCCBs start to fade.
Built-in extras that save panel space
This breaker ships with an undervoltage release (UVR) and a complement of two auxiliary switches plus one trip alarm switch (HQ configuration). That means you don't need to carve out extra DIN rail for add-on modules — the UVR handles safety-related dropouts, and the auxiliary contacts feed status back to the PLC or annunciator without a separate interposing relay. Communication function is onboard, so it can talk to a higher-level system for metering or remote trip indication.
Dimensions and panel fit
At 86 mm deep, 105 mm wide, and 181 mm tall, it fits a standard MCCB footprint. The 105 mm width is the critical number for multi-pole grouping — three poles in that width means you can line up several breakers in a row without oversizing the enclosure. Depth of 86 mm keeps the back-of-panel clearance manageable, even with wiring gutters.
