The SENTRON 3VA2063-5KP32-0AH0 is a current-production 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 63 A continuous current across the full 40 °C to 70 °C ambient range — no derating needed in a warm enclosure. Breaking capacity is 187 kA at 240 V, stepping down to 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V. That 187 kA figure at 240 V means it handles the full prospective fault current on a large 240 V distribution board without cascading upstream.
Line protection with communication
This MCCB is designed for line protection — feeder or main breaker duty in a distribution panel. It carries a communication function and an other measurement function, meaning it can report status and measured values back to a controller or BMS, which is useful for energy monitoring or remote trip indication in an automated line.
Auxiliary switch configuration
Factory-fitted with 2 auxiliary switches plus 1 trip alarm switch (HQ type). That gives three separate signal paths — two for status (open/closed) and one dedicated to trip events — enough for a motor control center or a PLC input card without adding external relays.
Physical fit and panel integration
Dimensions are 105 mm wide, 181 mm tall, and 86 mm deep. The 105 mm width is standard for a 3-pole frame in the SENTRON 3VA platform — it occupies three 35 mm DIN module slots (or a fixed-pattern mounting plate). The 86 mm depth includes the arc chamber and terminals; verify clearance behind the panel door for cable bend radius.
