What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3VA2063-5KP32-0BL0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 63 A continuous current across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling. Three poles, line protection design, with a built-in communication function for integration into a monitored distribution system. Breaking capacity is 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V. That 187 kA figure at 240 V puts it in the high-interrupting class for large transformer-fed services or high-fault industrial panels.
Auxiliary and release configuration
Factory-fitted with 2 auxiliary switches, 1 trip alarm switch, and 1 electrical alarm switch (HQ type), plus an undervoltage release (UVR). The UVR ensures the breaker trips on loss of control voltage — standard for safety disconnects on machine feeders. The alarm switches give the PLC or BMS a direct status signal without extra interposing relays.
Panel fit and dimensions
Dimensions: 105 mm wide, 181 mm high, 86 mm deep. That 105 mm width is the standard 3-pole MCCB footprint for this SENTRON frame size — it drops into the same DIN-rail or screw-mount pattern as other 3VA206x breakers. The 86 mm depth leaves clearance for rear-mounted accessories and cable bending radius inside the enclosure.
