Product identity and key ratings
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2063-5KP32-0JH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 63 A continuous current at 40 °C, with the same 63 A rating holding steady all the way up to 70 °C — no derating needed across that span (, –). That thermal stability matters if the breaker sits in a warm enclosure or near other heat sources; you don't lose headroom as ambient climbs. Interrupting capacity is specified per voltage: 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 75.6 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V (–). For a 480 V panel (common in North America), the 121 kA at 440 V is the closest published figure — well above typical available fault current for most distribution boards. Designed for line protection, this MCCB includes a communication function and ships with a shunt trip release (STL) plus two auxiliary switches and one trip alarm switch HQ. The trip indicator and voltage trigger are both present.
