What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3VA2063-6HL32-0CC0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) designed for line protection in distribution panels. It carries a continuous rated current of 63 A across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling, which simplifies panel layout when the breaker sits near other heat sources. Three poles, 63 A frame, and interrupting ratings that climb to 242 kA at 240 V and 187 kA at 415 V. At 690 V the rating drops to 3 kA — that's the arc-extinction limit for this frame size, so if your line side runs above 500 V (121 kA at 500 V), confirm the available fault current stays under the curve.
Panel fit and integration
Dimensions: 105 mm wide, 181 mm high, 86 mm deep. That 105 mm width is a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint — it occupies three 35 mm DIN modules worth of panel width if you're spacing by the usual 17.5 mm per pole. The 86 mm depth means it clears most 200 mm deep enclosures with room for rear-connected busbars. Built-in undervoltage release (UVR) and two auxiliary switches (HQ type) are fitted from the factory. The UVR drops the breaker if control voltage falls below its dropout threshold — common in safety circuits where a loss of control power should open the main feeder. The auxiliary switches give status feedback to a PLC or annunciator without needing an add-on block.
