What it is and what it does
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2063-6HL32-0DC0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 63 A continuous current, designed for line protection in industrial distribution panels. It carries a breaking capacity of 242 kA at 240 V AC, 187 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V — meaning it can safely interrupt fault currents up to those levels across common industrial voltages without upstream cascading. The adjustable thermal-magnetic trip unit covers a setting range from 95 A minimum to 756 A maximum, so it fits motor feeders or transformer primaries where the load current is well above the 63 A frame rating. An integrated undervoltage release (UVR) and two auxiliary switches (HQ design) are built in, saving panel space and wiring time compared to adding them as external accessories.
