63 A continuous, flat across the thermal range
The Siemens 3VA2063-6HN32-0AH0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker rated for 63 A continuous current from 40 °C all the way up to 70 °C — no derating curve to chase in a warm panel. Breaking capacity hits 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415 V and 440 V, then 121 kA at 500 V, dropping to 3 kA at 690 V. That's a high-interrupting rating for a 63 A frame; it clears severe fault currents without cascading upstream breakers in most distribution designs. The ETU350 electronic trip unit gives you adjustable long-time, short-time, instantaneous, and ground-fault protection curves — field-configurable via the front dials. No undervoltage release, no communication module, no voltage trigger on this variant; it's a straight line-protection breaker with 2 auxiliary switches plus a trip alarm switch (HQ type) for status feedback to a PLC or annunciator.
Panel fit and environmental limits
Three-pole, 105 mm wide, 181 mm tall, 86 mm deep — mounts into a standard SENTRON distribution board or standalone enclosure. IP40 on the front means it's protected against tools and wires >1 mm, but not against water ingress; keep it inside a cabinet or switchgear assembly. Operating range from -25 °C to 70 °C, storage from -40 °C to 80 °C. Maximum power loss is 5.4 W — negligible for thermal budgeting in a multi-breaker panel.
