The Siemens 3VA2063-6HN42-0AF0 is a current-production IEC molded case circuit breaker from the 3VA2 family, frame size 100, in a 4-pole configuration. It's built for line protection with an ETU350 electronic trip unit offering LSI protection — long-time, short-time, and instantaneous — adjustable over a wide range: overload protection Ir from 25 A to 63 A, short-circuit protection Isd from 1.5 to 10 times Ir, and instantaneous pickup Ii fixed at 12 times In. The 85 kA breaking capacity at 415 V (class H) means it can safely interrupt faults up to that level without cascading upstream — critical for high-fault panels where you need selectivity and don't want a main breaker tripping on a branch fault.
This breaker ships with a nut keeper kit for panel mounting and includes one auxiliary switch (changeover H) and one trip alarm switch (changeover) factory-fitted — saves a panel-builder having to snap in add-on blocks later. The N-conductor protection is adjustable (OFF or 100%), giving flexibility for different system grounding schemes. Mounts in the standard IEC frame-100 footprint, so it swaps into existing 3VA2 panel cutouts without rework.
The ETU350 trip unit is the same platform used across the 3VA2 line, so settings and accessories are consistent if you're mixing frame sizes in the same panel. The 85 kA @ 415 V rating puts this in the high-breaking-capacity tier — suited for industrial mains distribution where fault current is substantial, not just branch protection downstream of a transformer.
