What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3VA2063-6JQ46-0AA0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 63 A continuous current across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling. Four poles handle three-phase plus neutral, and the interrupting ratings climb to 242 kA at 240 V and 187 kA at 415 V, so it clears high-fault bolted shorts without the arc blowing back into the panel. That 242 kA at 240 V means it can sit on the line side of a transformer or a large motor starter where the available fault current is brutal — the breaker takes the hit, not the downstream gear.
Where it fits in the panel
At 86 mm deep, 140 mm wide, and 181 mm tall, this 4-pole MCCB fits a standard switchboard footprint. No undervoltage release or trip indicator; communication function is present.
