It's a current-production part — still in active manufacture, so no last-time-buy scramble for BOM lines that specify it.
That's unusual for a compact MCCB and simplifies panel thermal calculations. The ETU850 electronic trip unit offers an adjustable overload setting from 95 A minimum up to 756 A maximum (the frame's ultimate limit). That wide band lets you tune the breaker to the actual load without swapping hardware — useful when the same panel build serves different motor sizes. Short-circuit current ratings: 330 kA at 240 V, 242 kA at 415/440 V, 187 kA at 500 V, and 3 kA at 690 V.
Mount it in a panel with at least IP54 overall if the environment sees washdown or condensation. Communication function is built in — the ETU850 supports data exchange with the SENTRON powermanagement system for load monitoring and selective coordination studies. No external module required for basic bus communication.
