The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2110-0HM36-0AA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 100 A continuous current, using an ETU330 electronic trip unit for line protection. It's designed to sit on a DIN rail inside a distribution or motor control center panel, where the 86 mm depth and 105 mm width keep the footprint compact for a 100 A frame.
At 415 V this MCCB interrupts up to 440 kA, and at 690 V it still handles 187 kA. That SCCR gives you real selectivity headroom downstream — you can coordinate with smaller branch breakers without worrying about cascading failure on a high-fault transformer or large motor start.
Thermal stability across the panel ambient range
The 100 A rating holds flat from 40 °C all the way to 70 °C — no derating needed inside a warm enclosure. That's unusual for an MCCB; most require a knock-down above 40 °C. Operating ambient from -25 °C to 70 °C, with storage from -40 °C to 80 °C. Power dissipation at rated current is 7.7 W, manageable for thermal calculations in a sealed panel.
Front IP40 and compliance
Rated insulation voltage is 800 V, so it's comfortable on 480 V and 600 V class systems with margin.
