Breaking capacity — the real number for your fault study
The 3VA2110-5HL32-0AE0: This breaker delivers 187 kA at 240 V AC, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 79 kA at 500 V, and 4.25 kA at 690 V. At 415/440 V common in industrial plants, the 121 kA still gives you plenty of headroom for most distribution boards. The steep drop to 4.25 kA at 690 V means this isn't the right part for a 690 V main — you'd need a higher-rated frame for that.
Thermal derating — don't cook it at 70 °C
At 55 °C it derates to 96.25 A, at 60 °C to 92.5 A, at 65 °C to 88.75 A, and at 70 °C to 85 A. The 10 W maximum power loss also adds to the enclosure heat load; factor it into your thermal calculation.
Footprint is 105 mm wide, 181 mm tall, 86 mm deep — standard SENTRON 3VA frame size for 100 A. IP40 on the front is fine for a dry indoor panel; don't use it in a washdown zone without an enclosure.
