What this MCCB carries
The 3VA2110-5HL36-0AE0: The 3-pole body carries four HQ auxiliary switches, which cover status feedback to a PLC or safety relay without needing an add-on module. No undervoltage release, no shunt trip, no ground-fault module — this is a straight line-protection breaker with the aux contacts factory-fitted.
Thermal derating and panel fit
The breaker holds full 100 A up to 50 °C ambient; at 55 °C it derates to 96.25 A, at 60 °C to 92.5 A, at 65 °C to 88.75 A, and at 70 °C to 85 A. In a sealed enclosure or a hot machine cabinet, that derating curve tells you whether you need to step up to the next frame or add ventilation. The 105 mm width and 86 mm depth fit standard Siemens 3VA panel cutouts and busbar centers — no re-drilling if you're swapping a 3VA1 or earlier 3VL. IP40 on the front means it's protected against tools and wires >1 mm, but not against water ingress — keep it inside the enclosure, not on a washdown panel door.
