What it is and what it does
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2110-5HN32-0BA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 100 A continuous current at 40 °C through 70 °C — no derating needed across that range, which simplifies panel layout in warm enclosures. Its interrupting capacity hits 187 kA at 240 VAC, 121 kA at 415/440 VAC, 75.6 kA at 500 VAC, and 3.7 kA at 690 VAC — so it handles high-fault utility feeds downstream of a transformer without cascading upstream. Rated insulation voltage is 800 V, and maximum power loss is 12.5 W — a number to watch if you're packing multiple breakers in a sealed enclosure.
Built-in undervoltage release
This variant ships with an undervoltage release (UVR) factory-installed — the auxiliary release type is undervoltage release (UVR), so the breaker trips if supply voltage drops below a set threshold, protecting motors and sensitive loads from brownout conditions.
Panel fit and dimensions
Dimensions are 105 mm wide, 181 mm high, 86 mm deep — standard MCCB footprint for a 100 A frame. Mounts on a DIN rail or direct panel; the 3-pole body leaves room for side-mounted auxiliary contacts if needed later.
