What this MCCB delivers at the panel
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2110-5HN32-0DF0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 100 A continuous current across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to that ceiling. That flat thermal curve simplifies panel sizing: you don't have to oversize the frame for a warm enclosure. At 240 V it clears 187 kA; at 415 V and 440 V it holds 121 kA; at 500 V it's still 76 kA. Only at 690 V does it drop to 3.8 kA — that's the edge of the frame's capability for high-voltage distribution. It carries the ETU350 electronic trip unit, which means adjustable long-time (tr 0.5–17 s), short-time (tsd 0.02–0.4 s), and instantaneous pickup — selectivity tuning is practical without swapping trip packs. The 20 000-cycle mechanical endurance is standard for this frame class; it's not a switching device, but it handles routine isolation without wearing out prematurely.
