The ETU350 electronic trip unit gives you adjustable overload and short-circuit protection curves, so you dial in the coordination for your downstream loads rather than relying on a fixed thermal-magnetic characteristic. Breaking capacity hits 187 kA at 240 V and 121 kA at 415 V — that's the fault current it can safely interrupt without welding contacts or venting arc gas into the panel. At 690 V it still clears 4.25 kA, which covers most industrial line-to-line faults on a 690 V system. The 100 A rating holds flat from 40 °C up to 50 °C — no derating needed in a warm enclosure.
