What this MCCB brings to the panel
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2110-5JP46-0AA0 is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 100 A continuous current across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed as the panel warms up, which is unusual and saves you the headroom calculation. It carries an interrupting capacity of 187 kA at 240 V, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, and still holds 75.6 kA at 500 V; at 690 V it drops to 3.7 kA, so watch the voltage class if you're feeding a 690 V bus. The ETU550 electronic trip unit gives you adjustable N-conductor protection from OFF to 160 %, plus communication capability for integration into a higher-level monitoring system.
Panel fit and mounting
The 3VA2110-5JP46-0AA0 measures 140 mm wide, 181 mm high, and 86 mm deep — a standard 4-pole MCCB footprint for a 100 A frame. Front protection is IP40, so it's fine in a clean indoor panel but not for direct washdown exposure. No undervoltage release or ground-fault monitoring on this variant, and no trip indicator on the front face; the ETU550's communication port lets you pull status remotely instead.
