The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2110-5KP32-0AF0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 100 A continuous current at 40 °C through 70 °C — no derating needed across that band, which simplifies panel design in warm enclosures. Its adjustable thermal-magnetic trip unit covers 150 A to 1200 A, so you can match the breaker to the load without swapping the frame. The 187 kA interrupting capacity at 240 V AC handles high-fault utility feeds; at 415 V and 440 V it still holds 121 kA, dropping to 75.6 kA at 500 V and 3.7 kA at 690 V. Designed for line protection, it carries a built-in communication function and an auxiliary switch with a trip alarm — one auxiliary + one HQ alarm switch — so the panel PLC gets a discrete fault signal without an add-on module.
