What this MCCB carries and where it fits
The Siemens 3VA2110-5KP32-0DH0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 100 A continuous current across the full 40 °C to 70 °C ambient range — no derating needed in a warm enclosure. Its adjustable thermal-magnetic trip unit covers 150 A to 1 200 A, so you set the pickup to match the downstream load rather than swapping the breaker. The interrupting ratings climb to 187 kA at 240 V and hold 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, dropping to 75.6 kA at 500 V and 3.7 kA at 690 V — that SCCR headroom covers most industrial distribution panels without a current-limiting fuse upstream. This is a line-protection design with an undervoltage release and a built-in communication function for remote monitoring or trip indication. The auxiliary switch block carries 2 auxiliary switches plus 1 trip alarm switch (HQ type), so you get both a status signal and a separate fault flag without adding external relays.
Dimensions and panel fit
The breaker measures 105 mm wide, 181 mm high, and 86 mm deep. That 105 mm width is a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint — it fits the same DIN-rail or panel-mount cutout as other SENTRON 3VA2 three-pole frames. The 86 mm depth leaves clearance for rear-mounted accessories and wiring gutters in a 200 mm deep enclosure.
Thermal performance and power loss
Maximum power loss is 12.5 W at rated current — modest enough that ventilation slots in a standard IP54 enclosure handle the heat without forced air. The operating temperature range is -25 °C to 70 °C, with storage from -40 °C to 80 °C.
