MCCB for motor protection with high interrupting capacity
The interrupting capacity reaches 187 kA at 240 V AC, 121 kA at 415 V and 440 V, and still holds 75.6 kA at 500 V; at 690 V it drops to 3.7 kA, which is typical for this frame size. This SCCR headroom means it can be applied on high-fault utility feeds without cascading to an upstream breaker. The auxiliary switch configuration is two HQ (high-rupturing-capacity) auxiliary switches, and the design of the auxiliary release is the undervoltage release itself. There is no ground-fault monitoring version, no communication function, and no voltage-trip indicator on this variant. The basic switch supplied is order code 3VA21105MN320AA0.
