This is a line-protection design — it's meant for feeder circuits, not motor protection, so don't spec it where you need overload class 10 or 20 curves.
This MCCB's breaking capacity drops sharply as voltage rises: 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and only 3.7 kA at 690 V. That 690 V figure is a hard limit — if your system fault current exceeds 3.7 kA at that voltage, this breaker won't clear it safely.
Thermal performance and derating
Power loss is 10 W maximum, manageable for standard enclosure ventilation.
The IP40 front protection means it's splash-safe in the panel but not washdown-rated; keep it behind a sealed door in wet areas.
