Its breaking capacity hits 242 kA at 240 V AC and 187 kA at 415/440 V, dropping to 5 kA at 690 V — so it handles high-fault utility feeds and transformer secondaries without cascading upstream. The 100 A rating holds flat from 40 °C to 50 °C; above that, derate to 85 A at 70 °C.
Trip unit and auxiliary contacts
The ETU320 overcurrent release provides adjustable thermal-magnetic or electronic protection curves depending on the variant; this unit ships without undervoltage or shunt release, and without ground-fault monitoring. It includes one auxiliary switch and one trip-alarm switch (HP type), so you get remote status indication without adding a separate module. Power loss is 10 W maximum.
