Rated continuous current and interrupting capacity
Its interrupting capacity reaches 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 5 kA at 690 V — per the datasheet, these are the maximum short-circuit currents the breaker can safely interrupt at each voltage level, which is the figure that governs selectivity coordination in a distribution panel.
Above that, the continuous current derates linearly: 96.25 A at 55 °C, 92.5 A at 60 °C, 88.75 A at 65 °C, and 85 A at 70 °C. Maximum power loss is 10 W.
Trip unit and auxiliary releases
It includes a voltage trigger function but no undervoltage release, no auxiliary contact, no ground fault monitoring, no phase failure detection, and no communication function. The integrated auxiliary trip is order code 3VA9688-0BL33; the basic switch is 3VA2110-6HL32-0AA0.
Dimensions: width 105 mm, height 181 mm, depth 86 mm.
