Line protection MCCB with ETU350 — 100 A continuous, 242 kA breaking at 240 V
The SENTRON 3VA2110-6HN32-0AB0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 100 A continuous current (Iu) at 40 °C, with a rated insulation voltage (Ui) of 800 V. Its ETU350 overcurrent release provides adjustable protection for line-feeder and main-switch applications. The breaking capacity hits 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415 V, and 121 kA at 500 V — numbers that matter for high-fault panels where SCCR coordination is critical. At 690 V the capacity drops to 5 kA, so this is not a 690 V main breaker; it lives in the 240–500 V range. The 100 A rating holds flat from 40 °C to 50 °C, then derates linearly to 85 A at 70 °C. In a warm enclosure — say 55 °C ambient — you get 96.25 A, so a 100 A load at that temperature needs a larger frame or forced ventilation. The unit carries two HP auxiliary switches (no undervoltage release, no ground-fault monitoring, no communication module) and is IP40 on the front — fine for a dry panel, not for washdown.
Panel fit and integration — 86 mm deep, 105 mm wide
The 3VA2110-6HN32-0AB0 measures 86 mm deep, 105 mm wide, and 181 mm tall. The 105 mm width is three pole spaces on a standard DIN rail — verify gland-plate cutout clearance if replacing a different brand. The IP40 front means no gasket seal; keep it in a locked cabinet or behind a panel door.
