Line protection MCCB with shunt trip and auxiliary switches
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2110-6HN32-0HL0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 100 A continuous current at 40 °C through 70 °C without derating — flat thermal curve means it holds its full rating across the panel's ambient range. Breaking capacity is voltage-dependent: 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 3.7 kA at 690 V. That 242 kA at 240 V is the headline number for high-fault commercial services; the 187 kA at 415 V covers most European industrial distribution. The part is designed for line protection (cable/feeder protection), not motor or generator duty.
Auxiliary and trip configuration
Factory-fitted with 2 auxiliary switches, 1 trip alarm switch, and 1 electrical alarm switch (HQ type). Also includes a shunt trip (STL) for remote tripping. A voltage trigger is present; undervoltage release is not. The trip indicator is mechanical — visible flag on the breaker face. No ground-fault monitoring version. Communication function is absent; this is a standalone breaker, not a metering or networked unit.
Dimensions and mounting
Dimensions: 105 mm wide, 181 mm high, 86 mm deep. Standard SENTRON 3VA footprint — fits existing panel cutouts and busbar systems for the series. Power loss is 10 W maximum at rated load.
