The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2110-6HN32-0KA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 100 A continuous current across the entire ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed as the panel warms up. That flat thermal curve keeps the line moving in a packed enclosure where adjacent breakers are dumping heat. Breaking capacity hits 242 kA at 240 V and 187 kA at 415 V, so it clears high-fault downstream faults without cascading upstream. The integrated shunt trip (STL) release lets a safety PLC or E-stop circuit trip the breaker remotely — essential for a stop-the-line regime where every millisecond of fault isolation counts.
Line protection design, no communication module
This MCCB is designed for line protection — it guards the feeder, not a motor branch. No communication function onboard, so it's a fit for hardwired panels where you don't need remote metering.
