Rated current and interrupting capacity
The Siemens 3VA2110-6HN36-0CC0 is a SENTRON molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) with a rated continuous current Iu of 100 A, carried flat from 40 °C to 50 °C before linear derating to 85 A at 70 °C. The interrupting capacity reaches 242 kA at 240 V, 187 kA at 415 V and 440 V, and 121 kA at 500 V — these figures mean the breaker can safely clear a fault of that magnitude without rupturing, which is critical for high-fault installations like transformer secondaries or large motor control centers.
Undervoltage release and auxiliary contacts
