MCCB with 100 A continuous rating and 242 kA interrupting capacity
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2110-6HN36-0HA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 100 A continuous current at 40 °C, with a maximum interrupting capacity of 242 kA at 240 V. The interrupting rating drops to 187 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 121 kA at 500 V, and 5 kA at 690 V — the 690 V figure is the low end of the curve, so confirm the available fault current at your system voltage. The ETU350 electronic trip unit provides adjustable overload and short-circuit protection; the shunt trip (STL) allows remote tripping via a separate control signal. Latching endurance is rated at 20 000 operations.
Thermal derating and panel fit
The 100 A rating holds flat from 40 °C through 50 °C; above that it derates linearly to 85 A at 70 °C. If the panel ambient runs above 50 °C, the continuous current must be reduced per the published curve. The enclosure dimensions are 105 mm wide, 181 mm high, and 86 mm deep — a standard 3-pole MCCB footprint for DIN-rail or screw-mount installation. Maximum power loss is 10 W.
