What this breaker is and what the ratings mean
The Siemens 3VA2110-7MN32-0HC0 is a 3-pole IEC frame 160 circuit breaker with a 110 kA breaking capacity at 415 V — class C, meaning it clears high-fault-current events on industrial motor circuits without upstream coordination headaches. The ETU350M trip unit gives you LSI protection (Long-time, Short-time, Instantaneous) with an overload range Ir = 40 A to 100 A and short-circuit pickup Isd = 3 to 15 × Ir. Instantaneous fixed at Ii = 15 × In (1500 A at the 100 A rating). That Ii setting is deliberate for motor starting inrush: it rides through the start transient and only trips on a bolted fault. The shunt trip (STL) operates on 12-30 V DC or 24 V AC 50/60 Hz — a remote trip coil for emergency-stop or PLC-driven undervoltage release. Two auxiliary switches (HQ) report breaker position back to the control system. The nut keeper kit is included, which simplifies panel assembly: no loose washers to drop into a live board.
Lifecycle and sourcing reality
We quote the 3VA2110-7MN32-0HC0 to order against an RFQ. Availability and current pricing are confirmed at quote time through our independent supply network. Same part, different passport — genuine Siemens hardware, no region-lock issues.
Panel integration notes
Mounts on a standard DIN rail in the enclosure. The frame 160 footprint is compact for the 110 kA rating — leaves room for downstream contactors and overload relays in a motor control center bucket. The included nut keeper kit saves a step during terminal tightening.
