Interrupting capacity and thermal derating
Interrupting capacity is 330 kA at 240 V, 242 kA at 415 V and 440 V, 187 kA at 500 V, and 52.5 kA at 690 V — so at typical 400 V class it clears 242 kA, which covers most high-fault industrial services without upstream fusing. Thermal derating starts at 55 °C: full 100 A up to 50 °C, then 96 A at 55 °C, 94 A at 60 °C, 92 A at 65 °C, and 90 A at 70 °C.
Maximum power loss is 75 W, so plan some air movement in a crowded enclosure.
