Panel-builder commissioning note
The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2110-7MS32-0HH0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) rated for 100 A continuous at 40 °C through 70 °C with no derating — that's unusual thermal stability for a 100 A frame. Adjustable thermal-magnetic trip covers 300 A to 1 500 A, so you can dial it to protect motor or feeder circuits without swapping the breaker body. Breaking capacity hits 330 kA at 240 V, 242 kA at 415 V, and 187 kA at 500 V, which puts it in the high-interrupting category for industrial distribution panels. Power loss maxes at 10 W, manageable for dense DIN-rail layouts in a 105 mm wide x 181 mm tall x 86 mm deep footprint.
Integration and mounting
The 105 mm width x 181 mm height x 86 mm depth fits standard MCCB panel cutouts. Operating temperature from -25 °C to 70 °C covers most indoor electrical rooms; storage range -40 °C to 80 °C. The design includes a trip indicator and voltage trigger, plus a shunt trip (STL) auxiliary release and 2 auxiliary switches + 1 trip alarm switch HQ for remote status monitoring.
