The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2110-7MS36-0DA0 is a 3-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 100 A continuous current at 40 °C, with a breaking capacity of 330 kA at 240 V and 242 kA at 415 V. This is the starter protection variant, fitted with an ETU310M electronic overcurrent release and an integrated undervoltage release (UVR).
The 330 kA at 240 V and 242 kA at 415 V place this breaker in the high-interrupting category for a 100 A frame. For selectivity studies, the ETU310M release provides adjustable overload and short-circuit pickup, allowing coordination with downstream breakers in a distribution panel. The 800 V rated insulation voltage (Ui) supports 690 V line-to-line systems, where the breaking capacity drops to 52.5 kA — still adequate for most industrial 690 V bus feeds.
