The Siemens SENTRON 3VA2110-8HN46-0AA0 is a 4-pole molded case circuit breaker rated for 100 A continuous current across the full ambient range from 40 °C to 70 °C — no derating needed up to the enclosure's thermal limit. Its interrupting capacity hits 440 kA at 240 V and still delivers 330 kA at 415 V and 440 V, which puts it squarely in the high-fault-current tier for main or tie breakers in large distribution panels.
SCCR and selectivity headroom
At 500 V the breaker still holds 220 kA, and at 690 V it drops to 52.5 kA — still enough for most 690 V motor control centers.
Front IP40 protection means it's suited for enclosed panel mounting where tools or fingers won't contact live parts during operation. The ETU350 trip unit is field-configurable for N-conductor protection ratio; no communication module or voltage-trip accessory is included, so if you need remote signaling or undervoltage release, those are separate add-ons.
